Vietnamese Coconut Sticky Rice with Mango

This delightful Vietnamese dessert combines the rich creaminess of coconut sticky rice with the vibrant sweetness of fresh mango. Perfectly satisfying, it’s an easy-to-make treat that captures the essence of tropical flavors.

Steps

1. Rinse the glutinous rice under cold water until the water runs clear. 2. Soak the rice in water for at least 4 hours or overnight. 3. Drain the rice and steam it for about 20-25 minutes until tender. 4. In a small saucepan, combine coconut milk, sugar, and salt. Heat until the sugar dissolves, but do not boil. 5. Once the rice is cooked, transfer it to a bowl and mix in half of the coconut milk mixture. 6. Serve the sticky rice in a bowl, topped with fresh mango slices and drizzle the remaining coconut milk mixture on top. 7. Garnish with sesame seeds or mung beans if desired.
