Steps
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Wash the sweet potato thoroughly and pat it dry.
3. Pierce the sweet potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape.
4. Place the sweet potato directly on the oven rack or on a baking sheet for easier cleanup.
5. Bake for approximately 45-60 minutes, or until the skin is crisp and the inside is soft.
6. Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
7. Serve warm, optionally sprinkle with sea salt or add a dab of butter for extra flavor.
