Steps
1. Cook pasta in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
3. Add minced meat to the pan. Cook, stirring and breaking up the meat, until browned.
4. Stir in crushed tomatoes and dried oregano. Simmer for 10 minutes, season with salt and pepper.
5. Toss cooked pasta with the tomato meat sauce until well combined.
6. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan and fresh basil if desired.
