Steps
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the sourdough starter and water. Stir until well mixed.
2. Add the flour and salt to the bowl, mixing until a shaggy dough forms.
3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4. Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise for 4-6 hours at room temperature until doubled in size.
5. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
6. Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
7. Score the top of the loaf with a sharp knife.
8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
9. Let cool on a wire rack before slicing.
