
Steps
- Rinse the sticky rice until the water runs clear, then soak in water for at least 1 hour.
- Drain the rice and add it to a pot with 1/4 cup water. Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer, covered, until water is absorbed (about 10-15 minutes).
- In a separate saucepan, heat the coconut milk, sugar, and salt until sugar dissolves.
- Mix the cooked rice with half of the coconut milk mixture and let it absorb for 10 minutes.
- Serve the sticky rice with mango slices on top and drizzle with the remaining coconut milk mixture. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
