Steps
1. Rinse the glutinous rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then soak it in water for at least 2 hours or overnight.
2. Drain the rice and steam it in a bamboo or metal steamer lined with cheesecloth for about 20-25 minutes, or until tender.
3. While the rice is steaming, combine the coconut milk, sugar, and salt in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
4. Once the rice is cooked, transfer it to a bowl and pour half of the coconut milk mixture over the rice, mixing gently. Let it sit for 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
5. To serve, place a portion of the sticky rice on a plate, drizzle with the remaining coconut milk mixture, and top with slices of mango. Garnish with sesame seeds or toasted coconut flakes if desired.
