Steps

1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. 2. In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. 3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. 4. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy. 5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. 6. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss well to coat. 7. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.
