Steps
1. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped mushrooms and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
2. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
3. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Then mix in the cream cheese, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper until well combined.
4. Layer the mushroom mixture into a jar or glass, pressing down lightly.
5. Serve warm with a slice of crusty bread on the side for dipping.
