Steps

1. Boil macaroni and diced potato together in salted water until tender, about 8-10 minutes; drain and set aside. 2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. 3. Add onion and carrot, sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened. 4. Add minced garlic (if using) and mushrooms; cook until mushrooms are golden and tender, about 5 minutes. 5. Stir in cooked macaroni, potato, and rice. 6. Pour in cream or milk; mix well to coat everything. 7. Season with salt, pepper, and herbs; cook for another 2 minutes until heated through. 8. Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
