Steps
1. Boil the cubed turnip in salted water for about 15-20 minutes until tender.
2. Drain the turnip and return it to the pot. Add butter and heavy cream, then mash until creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté until browned, about 5 minutes.
4. Add the sautéed mushrooms to the mashed turnip, stirring to combine.
5. In the same skillet, add sliced carrots and green beans. Sprinkle with brown sugar and sauté until tender and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
6. Serve the creamy turnip mash topped with mushroom sauce and the sautéed vegetables on the side. Garnish with fresh parsley.
