Steps
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until they are translucent.
3. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned.
4. Stir in the diced tomatoes, dried oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
5. Combine the cooked pasta with the beef mixture, stirring well to coat the pasta.
6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
