Steps
1. Season the chicken breast with salt, pepper, and thyme on both sides.
2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and sear for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
5. Pour in the white wine and chicken broth, scraping any brown bits from the bottom of the skillet. Bring to a simmer.
6. Return the chicken to the skillet, cover, and cook for an additional 10 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
7. Remove the chicken again, and stir in the butter until melted, creating a silky sauce.
8. Serve the chicken drizzled with the wine sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.
