Steps
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
- Reduce the heat to low, add the remaining butter, lemon juice, and cooked spaghetti to the skillet. Toss everything together until well combined.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve hot with grated Parmesan if desired.
