Indonesian Fried Rice

This is a flavoursome and easy-to-make Indonesian fried rice dish.

Steps

1. Cook the rice in boiling water for 10 minutes. 2. Heat the oil in a large wok over medium-high heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until lightly golden. 3. Add the chili paste and fry for 1 minute. 4. Add the cooked rice and stir to combine. 5. Add the soy sauce and sugar and stir to combine. 6. Add the eggs and stir until eggs are cooked. 7. Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper. 8. Serve hot.

- 30 grams of rice - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil - 1 small onion, peeled and finely chopped - 2 cloves of garlic, finely crushed - 1 teaspoon of chili paste - 2 tablespoons soy sauce - 1 teaspoon sugar - 2 eggs, lightly beaten - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil - Salt and pepper to taste
