1. Heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat. 2. Add the carrots, garlic and onions. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring often. 3. Add the beef and season with salt and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes. 4. Serve warm, with a garnish of fresh herbs if desired.
