Molten Chocolate Lava Cake

Steps

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). 2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a microwave or double boiler. 3. In a separate bowl, whisk the sugar and egg until creamy. 4. Gradually pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, whisking continuously. 5. Sift the flour into the batter and fold gently until combined. 6. Grease a ramekin and pour in the batter. 7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are set but the center is still slightly jiggly. 8. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a minute. 9. Carefully invert the ramekin onto a plate to release the cake. 10. Serve the molten chocolate lava cake warm, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
