1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. 2. Season the trout filet with salt and pepper. 3. Add the garlic, butter, and olive oil to the skillet and heat until the butter is melted. 4. Place the seasoned trout filet in the skillet and cook for about 3 minutes. 5. Flip the trout with a spatula and cook for about 3 minutes more. 6. Lower the heat and add the lemon zest and juice. 7.
