Steps
1. Take the beef steak out of the refrigerator and let it rest at room temperature for about 15 minutes.
2. Season both sides of the steak generously with salt and pepper.
3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
4. Add the steak to the skillet and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare (adjust time for desired doneness).
5. In the last minute of cooking, add the butter, minced garlic, and rosemary to the skillet.
6. Spoon the melted garlic butter over the steak as it finishes cooking.
7. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
8. Serve with a squeeze of lemon on top for added freshness.
