
Steps
- Take the beef steak out of the refrigerator and let it rest at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
- Season both sides of the steak with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme with olive oil to create a herb paste.
- Rub the herb paste generously over the steak on both sides.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of olive oil.
- Once the oil is hot, place the steak in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust to your preferred doneness.
- Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with a squeeze of lemon juice over the top and enjoy!
