Spicy Indian Potato and Tomato Curry

A delicious and flavorful side dish made with potatoes and tomatoes, cooked in a spicy Indian curry sauce.

Steps

1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Allow them to splutter. 2. Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. 3. Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and slit green chilies. Sauté for a minute. 4. Add the cubed potatoes and cook until they are slightly golden. 5. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well. 6. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft and mushy. 7. Add garam masala and mix everything together. 8. Cover the pan and let the curry simmer for about 10-15 minutes, or until the potatoes are cooked through. 9. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with rice or roti.
