Steps
1. In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-7 minutes until foamy.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt.
3. Pour the yeast mixture and 1 tbsp olive oil into the flour and mix until a sticky dough forms.
4. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes on a floured surface until smooth.
5. Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a clean towel, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
6. Preheat oven to 220°C (430°F).
7. Gently press the risen dough into a greased baking pan to about 3 cm thickness.
8. Drizzle with remaining olive oil, sprinkle chopped rosemary and coarse sea salt on top.
9. Let it rest for another 15 minutes.
10. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
11. Remove from oven and let cool before slicing for sandwiches.
