Steps

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). 2. In a small bowl, combine the cumin, coriander, turmeric, paprika, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, salt, and black pepper. 3. Rub the spice mixture all over the cod fillet, ensuring it is evenly coated. 4. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. 5. Add the cod fillet to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until lightly browned. 6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until the cod is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. 7. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. 8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
