Steps
1. Toast the slice of whole-grain bread until golden brown.
2. In a small pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
3. Crack the egg into the pan and cook to your desired doneness (sunny side up, over-easy, etc.).
4. While the egg is cooking, place the cheese on the toast and let it melt slightly.
5. Once the egg is cooked, place it on top of the cheese toast.
6. Mash the avocado in a bowl and season with salt and pepper.
7. Spread the seasoned avocado on top of the egg.
8. Garnish with red pepper flakes or herbs if desired.
