Steps
1. In a saucepan, combine coconut milk, rice, sugar, cardamom, and cinnamon. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
2. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 20 minutes or until the rice is tender and the mixture has thickened.
3. In a separate bowl, beat the egg.
4. Slowly pour a ladle of the hot rice mixture into the beaten egg while whisking constantly to temper the egg.
5. Pour the egg mixture back into the saucepan and stir well. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
6. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
