
Steps
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, parsley, dill, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the trout fillet with olive oil and then press the herb breadcrumb mixture onto the flesh side.
- Place the trout in the skillet, crust side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Carefully flip the trout and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the fish is cooked through.
- In a separate small pan, melt the butter over low heat, then stir in the lemon juice.
- Serve the trout topped with the lemon butter sauce and garnish with a lemon slice.
