Steps
1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente.
2. Meanwhile, in a skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
4. Add the lobster tail, cut side down, and cook for about 3-4 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until cooked through.
5. Once the linguine is cooked, reserve a bit of the pasta water and drain the rest.
6. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet with the garlic butter sauce, and toss to combine. If needed, add a bit of reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.
7. Squeeze lemon juice over the pasta and season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Plate the linguine and top with the lobster tail. Garnish with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
