Steps

1. Heat the oil in a medium pot over medium heat. 2. Add a few popcorn kernels and cover with a lid. 3. Once the test kernels pop, add the rest of the popcorn kernels in an even layer. 4. Cover the pot and shake gently to coat kernels with oil. 5. Keep the lid slightly ajar to let steam escape. 6. When popping slows to about 2 seconds between pops, remove from heat. 7. Immediately sprinkle salt over the popcorn and toss to coat evenly. 8. Serve warm and enjoy your salty snack.
