Steps

1. Drain and rinse the soaked black beans. In a pot, combine beans, sausage, pork, onion, garlic, bay leaf, paprika, and enough water to cover. 2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 1 hour, or until beans are tender. 3. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and remove the bay leaf. 4. Cook rice according to package instructions. 5. Serve the feijoada over rice and garnish with chopped parsley.
