
Steps
- Marinate the chicken breast with shawarma spice mix, olive oil, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
- Cook the bulgur by boiling water, adding bulgur, and simmering for about 15 minutes until fluffy.
- In a bowl, combine cooked bulgur, parsley, tomatoes, cucumber, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to make tabbouleh.
- Grill or pan-fry the marinated chicken over medium heat for about 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through.
- Slice the chicken thinly and serve it over the tabbouleh bulgur with pita bread on the side, if desired.
