Steps
1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
2. Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until soft and translucent.
3. Add ground meat, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned.
4. Stir in cumin, cinnamon, paprika, salt, pepper, and chili flakes if using.
5. Cook for another 5 minutes until meat is fully cooked and flavors meld.
6. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley.
7. Take the flatbread and carefully slice it open to create a pocket.
8. Stuff the bread pocket with the meat mixture.
9. Heat a clean pan over medium heat and toast the stuffed bread for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and slightly crispy.
10. Serve warm and enjoy your Madfouna.
