1. Begin by whisking the egg in a bowl.
2. Bring the milk to a simmer in a pot, then add in the rolled oats. Stir constantly until the oats thicken.
3. Turn of the heat and stir in the olives, salt, and pepper.
4. To assemble, divide the oatmeal between two bowls. Top each with half the egg.
